Embracing my 75 Soft Life...Let's Start Together and Staying Strong
By now we've all heard of the 75 hard challenge. I'm guessing most of us have even tried it. I think I've attempted it twice and made it maybe to day 10. I just don't think that type of tough love, no excuse, do it anyway mentality works for me and it seems like it doesn't work for most people. The 75 Soft has similar "rules" but seems more palatable for real life, especially life with a toddler. I of course have goals that I would like to acomplish but I also have a life, an

Embracing Change While Loving Where You're at Today.
As we move closer to the new year it feels so natural to think about creating big goals and reinventing our lives. There are so many articles and statistics about January 1st being an arbitrary day and how long it takes the average person to give up on their new years resolutions. I've read all the articles and I've seen all the statistics and I just don't care...I love the idea of personal reinvention. The only thing I've taken away from those articles is not to wait until n

The Why Behind The Running List
I've been wokring hard to find solutions to some of my mental blocks when it comes to getting more stuff done around the house. I came across a tip in a book that suggested one way to help with mental overwhelm was to write things down as soon as they come to mind. The idea being if you dont write it down it just lives in your brain and you're spending energy to remember all the things you need to do. For me some of these things are just "that would be nice" and "someday" typ

I did it.
Continuing yesterdays post...I went home after the gym, I spent some time cleaning the kitchen (it needed it), got some food (also necessary), and then went out to the garage to get some work done.... and I have to tell you, it felt amazing. I of course didn't get my project done and I didn't get the garage clean but I got a start on it and that's a huge step for me. I think I've been wanting to work on the garage and dresser project for over a year now. To continue to moment

Where To Begin?
I feel like, as the author of this blog, that I should be the one providing the advice but I constantly find myself stuggling to figure out where ot begin the decluttering process in order to make it stick. I guess I'm just going to keep writing and see what comes out of my brain and see if I can come up with a plan that works better this time. Or maybe I'll just rant for 500+ words and see how I feel at the end. The first sticking point... There is always stuff somewhere. Th

Embrace Minimalism: The Ultimate Guide to Decluttering Your Space
I feel like I spend a lot of time managing stuff... particularly after having my son. I know everyone says babies come with so much stuff but have you ever met a toddler who loves cars? I don't think my brain can handle one more car in the house. But, I know I'm not inocent in all this....I love my stuff. And I love shopping. Unforntunatly though I feel like I've gotten to the point of Max Capacity! I'm constantly in a state of trying to find more storage and add and create m
